kaitlyn tracey
main teacher
Kaitlyn (she/her) found solace in yoga during one of her most challenging periods in 2020; it became her guiding light towards love, wellness, and healing. In June 2022, she successfully completed The Lotus Pond's 200-hour YTT. Alongside her yoga journey, Kaitlyn's passion for understanding behavior and mental health led her to pursue a BA in Psychology and Minor in Creative Writing from USF, graduating in December 2022. Currently engaged in her 300-hour advanced YTT, Kaitlyn seamlessly weaves her psychological insights into her yoga teachings, fostering a holistic approach to wellness. Drawing from her academic background, she creates a nurturing environment in her classes, where children not only learn yoga but also develop greater self-love, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence. Outside of her yoga practice, Kaitlyn works as a nanny during the day, where her work with children serves as both a profession and a passion, further fueling her commitment to fostering empathy and resilience in young minds. This integration of psychology, yoga, and childcare aims to empower her students to navigate life's challenges with resilience and compassion, contributing to a more empathetic and inclusive world.
